How to Set Up Email Forwarding

Email Forwarding Setup

Want your support emails to magically appear as tickets? Here's the wizardry:

  1. Go to Settings > Email

  2. Copy your unique forwarding address (it looks like yourworkspace@inbound.helpcanvas.com)

  3. In your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.), set up auto-forwarding from your support email to this address

  4. That's it! Emails will now appear as tickets faster than you can say "inbox zero"

Supported email providers

  • Gmail / Google Workspace

  • Microsoft 365 / Outlook

  • ProtonMail

  • Any provider that supports email forwarding (so basically all of them)

Replies from your HelpCanvas dashboard are sent back to the customer. They'll never know you're using a helpdesk. Sneaky!
