AI Chatbot Setup
Our AI chatbot is like having a support agent that never sleeps, never eats, and never complains about Monday mornings.
Getting Started
- Go to AI Chatbot in the sidebar
- Click "Create Chatbot"
- Add your Knowledge Base articles (the chatbot reads these to answer questions)
- Configure the personality: Friendly, Professional, or Concise
- Add your AI provider API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini)
How it works
The chatbot uses RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). In English: it searches your knowledge base for relevant articles, then uses AI to craft a natural response. If it can't answer, it escalates to a human agent. No hallucinations, no making stuff up.
Escalation
When the chatbot's confidence drops below the threshold (default: 40%), it automatically creates a ticket for a human agent. The full conversation transcript is included.
