How to Use the AI Chatbot

AI Chatbot Setup

Our AI chatbot is like having a support agent that never sleeps, never eats, and never complains about Monday mornings.

Getting Started

  1. Go to AI Chatbot in the sidebar
  2. Click "Create Chatbot"
  3. Add your Knowledge Base articles (the chatbot reads these to answer questions)
  4. Configure the personality: Friendly, Professional, or Concise
  5. Add your AI provider API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini)

How it works

The chatbot uses RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). In English: it searches your knowledge base for relevant articles, then uses AI to craft a natural response. If it can't answer, it escalates to a human agent. No hallucinations, no making stuff up.

Escalation

When the chatbot's confidence drops below the threshold (default: 40%), it automatically creates a ticket for a human agent. The full conversation transcript is included.
